We created the Water's Edge modern lakefront retreat to give you a calm and comfortable place to relax and enjoy time with those you care about most or just some "me" time. The Water's Edge is professionally designed as the perfect getaway to allow you to relax in nature without compromising any comforts you would expect from a premier accommodation: → Luxury beds and linens → Elegant bathroom with room for two and a large walk-in shower → Large glass windows with lake views from every room → Designer kitchen with Nespresso coffee + all the cocktail bar tools → Multiple spaces to unwind inside and out → Waterfront fire pit and dock → Huge elevated, private, covered deck with suspended lounge net → Sonos whole-house audio system → Fast fiber internet Where you'll sleep → The primary bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. → The secondary bedroom has a queen bed → If you need extra room, there is a double sofa bed in the living room

Good to know

HEB grocery is about 10 minutes away with delivery available (you'll pass it arriving from Houston) You are welcome to bring your own boat. We have a place to tie up your boat right at the property. Stow-a-Way Marina has a boat launch and is just 2 minutes away. You are welcome to use our two, single person kayaks. We also have a variety of adult and kid size life jackets.

This place was one of the best places I have ever stayed at in my life. The design was so fun, clean, comfortable and thoughtful. The amenities were out of this world with so many things to do. Me and my girlfriends booked this place for a reunion and it was perfect in every way. reading in the sun, fire pits, boating, cooking, playing games, and dancing late into the night! I have literally had people messaging me asking me for the link because we keep raving about it. My expectations were blown away and I really appreciate the attention to detail the owners put into this special place!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake house! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, welcoming, and exactly as described—if not better. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. We loved spending our mornings on the deck with coffee, and our evenings around the fire pit under the stars.

This place was an absolute gem! If it looks too good to be true on the pictures, it isn't. What you see is what you get and that is no small feat. The home is well decorated and curated for a weekend, or in our case a weeks long stay right on the water front. The dock is private and feet from the back door. The owners have just about all bases covered. Communication was excellent and proactive. Did you forget a few things, don't worry they have it covered. Want to get out on the water? No problem there are a couple of kayaks stashed under the house. I had a group of 5 from the ages of 77 to 10 and everyone had a great time. Amanda and Mark know how to run a great rental.

This was our second time staying and it was just as beautiful as we remembered! Also, the hosts had just made some upgrades to their outdoor area and it did not disappoint! They also were so thoughtful in helping to make a special occasion that much more special. This is a gorgeous place to stay and Amanda and Mark are excellent hosts!!

We absolutely loved this place! It didn’t feel like we were staying at a typical airbnb - it felt like we were staying at our most thoughtful and stylish friend’s house. Everything was labeled for easy access, and the nightlights (!!!) were a great touch, especially since we were there with smaller kids. Everything was clean and very well-maintained. The location was perfect and so quiet. If we are ever in the area again, I would absolutely stay here another time. Thanks Amanda and Mark for a great experience - you guys knocked it out of the park with this one!

Amanda and Mark’s lake house was beautiful. We had a great stay and will really miss the beautiful view and space they provided. The hosts were super responsive and the guidebook provided was so helpful. Book this stay if you want to have an amazing relaxing time.

This house was so cute right off Lake Conroe and is the perfect location if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway! We met up with another couple and it was the perfect size. Would book this Airbnb again in a heartbeat!

We had such a peaceful and much-needed weekend at Amanda and Mark’s place. The home is warm and welcoming, and the beautiful lake view from the deck truly made it feel like a tranquil escape. Even though a rainy cold front kept us from fully enjoying the lake itself, just sitting on the deck and taking in the scenery was incredibly relaxing. Amanda and Mark were wonderful hosts—responsive, kind, and thoughtful. I let them know about a small mishap during our stay, and they were so gracious and understanding. We’re already looking forward to coming back on a sunny weekend to make the most of the lake and enjoy the upgrades they have planned for the backyard. Highly recommend this spot for anyone needing a peaceful getaway!

We had a great time… beautiful house right on the lake. We caught a fish right off the dock, went kayaking and enjoyed the fire pit. The inside of house was impeccable and beautiful. Thank you so much!
